I've just recently built a new pc and while playing games my computer crashes and automatically resets itself. I don't know why this is happening. I have all my components at stock speeds.

My build:
Gigabyte 990fxa-ud5 AM3+ socket
AMD FX-8350 @4.0Ghz
Zalman cnps9900 max cooler
MSI GeForce GTX970 x16PCIe @Stock
HyperX Fury 16GB (2x8GB DIMM) @ 1866Mhz
Corsair AX860 PSU
TP-Link 450Mhz Wi-Fi adapter
Zalman Z11 plus case
7 case fans
Windows 8.1 64bit

TP-Link 450Mhz Wi-Fi adapter that is your problem. Your adapter is most likely defective like mine came when I bought a cheap one for my wifes pc. Try playing a game without it connected at all and I bet your problems stop

Ok I tried removing the TP-Link all together and the problem is still exactly the same. I've run stress tenting on my cpu and gpu and neither crashes. Cpu temp maxed out is at 50DegC and GPU temp is 69DegC and while stress testing there are no crashes unless I set my Prime95 to run Small FTTs and then it crashes after a couple of minutes. I'm currently updating all my drivers but most of them seem to be up to date already and I don't think this will help much
