So guys i bought this Corsair CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9 4 GB DDR3 From amazon.in Now my issue is When i plug in my RAM my PC Starts but there is no Display in the monitor and the monitor power light is blinking ..and when i put my old DDR2 RAM back my PC works normal .. I have a "Gigabyte GA-G41M Combo" Motherboard which supports both DDR2 as well as DDR3 RAM
My MB Support DDR3 1333(O.C.)/1066/800 MHz memory modules and i am having a 1600MHz RAM if maybe this is the reason BUT i have read in many forums That RAM automatically Downclocks to compatible Frequency..
I don't know what's the issue i can be possible that my RAM is faulty..

My system spec..
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @2.93 GHz
Gigabyte GA-G41M Combo" Motherboard (http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3505#ov)

My BIOS is updated to F3 and i am using DDR3 alone.. I am not using both DDR2 , DDR3 RAM simultaneously

It may be that the new memory is incompatible with the system, or faulty, or maybe both. Compatibility can't be verified as there is no listing for the G41M Combo motherboard at Corsair compatible memory search here, nor is the memory listed on the Gigabyte QVL for compatible memory.

Try the new memory in another computer (friend, or neighbor, or whoever else . .). And/or, try other known compatible DDR3 memory (use memory manufacturer compatible memory search function at memory manufacturer websites to confirm compatibility) in the system to determine whether the DDR3 slots may be faulty.
