I don't want something as powerful as the average 12 hundred dollar computer i just want i guess like a starter pack of gaming computers. I want it to be 300-400 dollars, including an optical drive and operating system, preferably windows 7 which wouldn't necessarily be a problem. I want it to do simple video editing (that really isnt a huge need it would just be nice) and playing games like Minecraft and Garys mod. I'd like most of the parts on amazon or newegg. I dont need monitors but i need to be able to do a dual monitor set up so one graphics card should be enough one monitor on HDMI one on VGA. Thanks!

Pretty much what getochkn said. No hope of an effective gaming system on that sort of budget. It would be a struggle to build a computer at that price point. The build posted will work somewhat, however it is pretty limited. I would cut the hard drive to a 500gb, and put the savings towards a graphics upgrade.
