you would get from 30 to 40% performance boost over single gtx 780 .

What resolution are you playing at? I have a Gigabyte 780 Windforce and with good overclock I can max out everything I have tried at 1080p while staying above 60fps.
780's seem to be going for just under £200 for a used one. So that's how sli will cost or what you can get out of yours for an upgrade
