Hi guys, I'm looking for a mATX Build at around $1000 with OS but no monitor or other peripherals. I already have some parts locked in and I need advice and recommendations on the other parts.
Parts that are mostly locked in:
Intel Core i5 4690K
Fractal Design Arc Mini R2

So yeah... Not much. That's why I need help. A mATX Z97 board is going in and I have trouble deciding between the Asus Z97M-Plus, MSI Z97M-G43 and the Gigabyte GA-Z97M-DS3H. I have good experience with Asus but I have never used a MSI or Gigabyte motherboard. A 8GB RAM Kit is also going in and I am most likely going with a 1600MHz CL11 Corsair Vengeance Pro Kit . For the GPU I am leaning towards the GTX 960 instead of the 970 as I don't play super-hardcore games (eg. Metro: Last Light, Crysis) at high resolutions but instead less hardcore titles that don't need that much horsepower. I like the Asus Strix one as it has gotten good reviews. I will not be getting a mechanical hard drive. Instead, I will be getting a single 240, 250, 256GB SSD first then when I need more storage, I will get a 2TB HDD. I like the HyperX Fury 240GB as it has a value for money and has gotten positive reviews. For the PSU, I like the EVGA Supernova 750 G2 for it's fully modular design and it's beautifully sleeved cables. But I realized that I don't need that much wattage and BitFenix has their Fury line of PSUs and IMO they're sleeving job is better and the PSUs look nicer (I'm shallow, I know). Oh right, the CPU cooler. I think I'm set on the CM Hyper 212 EVO as it has been getting super-good reviews from the time of it's launch quite some time ago. I'm going air cooling this time as I'm on quite a small budget to be going on water. Windows 8.1 64 Bit is going in the build (obviously). So yeah... Those are my questions and I hope you guys can help. :D
Edit: Forgot to tell you guys that I'm going with a Black/Blue theme so try to get the color schemes of the parts to match (again, I'm shallow).

Solution
Don't go for the Fury PSUs. Sleeving job just overinflates the price of what is a meh grade psu. Plus, Asus and Gigabyte make excellent boards, but if you're gonna overclock, you might need something with a bit more muscle.

However, as awesome as black and lightning blue sounds (my brother has his like it), it's incredibly difficult to find a board with nice blue heatsinks which aren't from ASrock or MSi's basic boards. Let's see if you like black and gold.

Excellent system for the price. Plus, the GTX 960 sips power, so you don't need 750 watts.
