My flash drive won't appear in My Computer or Disk Manager,Auto play doesn't come up.

It appears in devices, but I can't fix the problem from there. I tried plugging it into my brother's computer and it does show up, but I can't format it there.

If you open up "Computer Management" and look at the disk manager section, you should be able to find it there. Sometimes drives get conflicting letters assigned and don't show up. You can set a letter there or format it. If it doesn't show up in the disk manager, you may need to install drivers or it is defective.
