Friday night I upgrade my CPU to and AMD Fx-8350, all was good. I played some 4K games, benched it, and all that jazz... The next day I am enjoying, and I get a BSOD. I reboot, and everything is okay for 2 hours. After the 2 hours, I get another. After that, everytime I boot it BSODs, freezes, or just shutdowns. I can not for life of me diagnose this. So I gave up. Now I am back to where it shut downs randomly, and after that, I have to turn off my computer and wait several hours.

What I checked thus far, my temperatures are normal when crashes (35-48 C), my MB and PSU can handle it (EVGA 600B 600w 80 Plus, and Asus M5A97 R2.0), and I updated my BIOS to the latest version. I even went through the trouble of removing any AMD software I had from my old GPU.

I do not know what is up, PLEASE help. I am desperate. This is killing me. I cannot do anything for a long time in fear that it will crash on me.

Lets try the simple stuff first, double check all connections inside, that all the memory is seated correctly, etc. Secondly when you're checking temps can you also check the motherboard chipset, see if thats overheating. Lastly problems like this can also be caused by a bent pin on the CPU. These can cause all sorts of wacky problems that only show later on. I would say confirm these things first then we can go from there.

Also you mentioned about removing software form your old GPU, did you change your graphics card at the same time?

Firstly, thank you trying to help me!

Secondly, the motherboard temperatures are fine aswell, 26-28 degrees. I plan on, tomorrow, resitting my RAM, and then checking my CPU. Problem is, I have very limited thermal paste...

No problem,

In the worst case if its a bent pin this video should help:

If its not I know you said the temps are ok, but maybe an individual core is overheating can you check that in Overdrive or something? Too much thermal paste is also bad, if it gets in and around stuff and places it shouldn't be. Just trying to cover all your bases here....
