Hello, I have an Acer aspire v5 573p 6896. I recently upgraded the RAM from 4gb(onboard) to 12gb(with a PNY 8gb). but the BIOS and windows(8.1 64-bit) are reading only the 4gb ram on the motherboard, and cpu-z only the 8gb on the only slot available. the bios is updated and I don't think is a slot or ram failure because cpu-z detect it. I don't have a clue on what is happening. any ideas?
