Is a 600w PSU enough for mid-range and high-end builds?

Hello.

I'm trying to build a PC using the following specs:

CPU: Intel i5-4690 Quad Core (No overclock)

MoBo: GA-H97M Gaming 3

RAM: Gskill RipjawsX Dual DDR3 16gb 1866Mhz

GPU: Zotac GTX 970 4gb GDDR5

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 7200RPM 64mb

SSD: Kingston SSDNow V300 120gb

DVDRW: Internal Asus 24X DVDwriter SATA DRW-24B5ST

Case: Corsair Obsidian Series 350D Windowed Case

Fans: 1x140 stock fan, 1x120 stock fan, 1x140mm LED fan (Corsair AF140 LED Quiet Edition), 2x120mm LED fans (Corsair AF120 LED Quiet Edition

Fan Controller: NZXT Sentry Mix 2 Fan Controller

Can the Corsair CX Series CX600M 80Plus-Bronze APFC Modular Power Supply: 600w PSU handle this rig? If not, any suggestions what PSU and watts that I really need?

Note:

1.) Since I am in the Philippines, I can not find the PSU that I'm looking for (like EVGA PSU's). I can only go to this site:

dynaquestpc.com

Can you guys help me find a PSU on this site or anywhere inside the Philippines? I honestly can't find the parts outside the country.

2.) Can you give comments and, if possible, suggestions about my rig? I don't really know if something is better at the same time cheaper.

Thanks!

getting a 750w won't damage anything other than your pocket.

For your system specs, a 600w will do and will be more than enough. But instead of CX Series CX600M, choose a seasonic from the site you prefer

The 600 watt PSU you selected is fine if you are not overclocking. You might consider the Seasonic M12II-620 EVO as well since its in the same price range and should be a tad higher quality. The low end Corsair PSU's are made by Channel Well which are arguably lower quality but are perfectly fine if you don't push them to hard. If you are planning on some decent overclocks then think about the Corsair AX650 80 as its made by Seasonic and it is made to a higher build standard so you will have less voltage ripples i.e. stable overclocking.

Note: This was based off what you can buy.

Can I consider a 750w PSU? Will it shut down or overheat if I use it for this rig?

I'm choosing:

Seasonic M12II-620 EVO 620W 80Plus Bronze Fully Modular
Seasonic M12II-750 EVO 750W 80Plus Bronze Fully Modular
Seasonic P-660 Platinum 660W Full Modular
Seasonic P-760 Platinum 760W Full Modular
Seasonic X-650 650W 80PLUS Gold (Modular)
Seasonic X-750 750W 80PLUS Gold (Modular)

Can I choose a 750w or just 600-660w? Thanks!

I strongly recommend the 620w M12II, or even the S12II, only difference is it being modular. If you dont have plans in overclocking or SLI in the future, then it would be more than enough. Plus Seasonic is a very reputable brand when it comes to PSUs, check their reviews online, even in tipidpc it's the one they use on recommended builds. And pretty sure dynaquest offers the lowest price in our market.
