Retrive office 2013 product key on win8

Here is the deal, one of my co-worker broke her laptop. The HDD is still usable so it has been extracted.

She had paid for office 2013 and she would like to use that product key to reinstall it on her laptop.

Any ideas on how to find that product key without having too boot on that HDD?

If I have to boot on that hdd it's fine, how would I find the product key then?

She bought one of those cards at a local computer shop.

no she doesn't have the card anymore... That's why I am trying to look for the product key.

I heard of NirSoft, any luck with that software?

personally i always keep stuff like that close to me lol i would try what the link i posted does see if that can find it

Belarc Advisor can retrieve the Office license key.

But....you need to boot from that drive, install that and run it.
The problem is, that laptop hard drive probably won't boot in any other system.

NirSoft claims they can find it even from an external source. I will try that and let you guys know.

Yes, that NirSoft ProduKey says it can read off other than the boot drive.
