I am building a PC one-two pieces at a time, and with my budget, I can buy a new GPU and PSU, then I will put it in my old PC first. Is that possible?

My Motherboard right now is a: M2N68-LA (link to HP website: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c01701270)

My new GPU is a: MSi GTX 750 Ti 2GB
My new PSU is a: Plenty 550W Super Black 3 (a Thai PSU... it's safe)

Solution
That GPU should work on that motherboard. PCIe is backwards compatible, so it doesn't matter what revision slot it is, an x16 PCIe 1.0 slot can handle a PCIe 3.0 GPU for example. There is decreased bandwidth available in the earlier revisions but that shouldn't limit the 750ti much at all, if any.

Depending on the length of the GPU, the SATA cable plugs on the motherboard could be obstructed by a longer dual slot cooler.
