Need help picking laptop

Hi,
In September, I will start College, so I figured I would need a laptop.
I'm looking for something with an i5 CPU (Preferably Ivy Bridge and above), 6Gb-8Gb of RAM, and 500Gb-1000Gb of Storage. Graphics can be integrated. Preferably in black, with a slim/sleek feel, nothing bulky. My budget is around £600 or about $800.
(Don't worry about Operating System)

of course HP is the better, but if you really concern about your money and won't play a lot of games, then Asus is the way to go since the spec is pretty similar, the only BULKY factor there is the GPU from 820 to 840. Both of CPU is an i5 but the HP one got a 4200M which is better than 4210U because faster clock speed but tend to use more power than intel U series...

Hi, thanks for the response. The HP does actually look a lot more appealing, it's just a bit expensive. I found one on eBay for £529, seems to be brand new:

Would this be a better option? I know eBay isn't always safe, but it looks genuine.
