So I am building a rig. I selected the following :-
CPU FX 4300
PSU Corsair VS450 450W
MOBO GA-78LMT-S2PT
HDD Seagate Barracuda 1 TB
Optical Drive Samsung SH224B
Processor Cooler Deepcool Gamma Archer
GPU GTX 750 TI.
Monitor @ 1366x768
What I want to know is that should 6 GB of RAM be sufficient?(for modern day gaming of course.) If yes then can you suggest which one should I go for? (3x2?) I can spend max 5K INR for this.

Remember that you need 2 sticks for each bank of your board so if you are only adding 8 GB then you need 2 sticks of 4GB ram. Both of the links you posted are for higher speed ram than your board officially supports. The max speed is PC3 10666 and not the PC3 12800. This link gives you an idea in US$ what is available for your board that is guaranteed to work.

Your board runs with dual channel architecture so you need either 2 or 4 sticks to run, not 3 sticks as you listed. It needs DDR3 ram running at 800, 1066 or 1333 speed. I'm not sure of what is available in India but maybe checking pcpartpicker or NewEgg will give you an idea on what is available in the $85 US range. Yes 4GB ram is enough for most anything other than high end gaming.

I tried finding the PC3 10666 on the site you posted but all I could find was for a laptop. The other option for you may be amazon if you can't find anything closer. Is it possible for you to get something from say Australia or is that not possible either?

Amazon has free shipping to India so I guess I'll order from there. I could also try and find rams at 1333 mhz thee are some products that we get in the local market but on the website it is not shown.

Go with the 1333 if you can. Two 4 GB sticks should meet your needs and still meet your budget. Sorry you couldn't find anything closer but at least you are able to get ram through Amazon so you should be all set.

I just reviewed the motherboard. It says it supports the 1600 mhz speed.
