New RAM one side/dual side dual channel help

I bought 2 more rams for my PC today. So I have 4x1 GB DDR2 667Mhz. But my mobo wont handle 2 more gb of rams because I need to have one sided rams. and what i bought are all two sided. Is there anything i can do to avoid this one sided thing? I feel like i wasted money on the rams

No way to avoid the issue since it is a limitation of the Intel chipset

Your chipset can only handle 4gb total ram. 4x1gb is the most you can do. This is why I rarely recommend spending money on old systems. Usually it is a waste.

Yes I know its old and i dont have budget for a whole new one. Didnt even knew this two sided stuff was a thing. I thought that you just pop in the RAM's and good to go.
