New memory problem - computer restarts on and on

Ok guys so the problem is as follows: I bought a Fury HyperX 4GB DDR3 - 1600 CL10 240 - Pin UDIMM, tried it on my computer (motherboard Gigabyte H55W-S2V) together with a 2GB Kingston I have from the beginning and when it gets to windows loading, it freezes, restarts and everything goes like this on and on. When i tried to put the new RAM's alone, it blocks at the first screen, before even booting, and it restarts on and on.

After doing a lot of stuff which I will mention in a bit, I thought it is a compatibility problem so I changed the HyperX with a Kingston 4GB, DDR3, 1333MHz, Non-ECC, CL9, 1.5V. I figured the 1333Mhz and CL9 are more close to what I had before. The problem remains the same with no change, so the memory is not the problem.

I want to specify that with the old rams (one 2GB and one 1GB) the computer works just fine.

Things I have tried:
- i have updated BIOS to 3-rd version, and last, which was supposed to help with the new RAM's, but it didn't help in this situation.
- i changed the frequency and voltage up and down, one by one, and tried pretty much all the possibilities.
- i reset the CMOS by removing the battery for 2 minutes.
- i tried all the possible combinations between my RAM's (new one + each of the old ones, new one alone).
- i tested a new PSU, thinking that mine might be failing, with no success.

If anyone knows what to do in this case..please assist me, i'm kinda running out of ideas...

Great thanks!

I changed the Fury XyperX since I tought they are not compatible. Now I have Kingston 4GB, DDR3, 1333MHz, Non-ECC, CL9, 1.5V, which I bought thinking they are close to what I have now. The problem is the same though.

If i put the 4GB on itself, the computer freezez at the first booting screen, then restarts and goes like that on and on.

I have the latest BIOS, just updated it a couple of days before, no result.

I have tried adding the 2GB, entering BIOS and changing the voltage or the frequency. First i raised the voltages with 0.05 till i reached 1.65 (since i know that is the maximum of safety) with no result. Then i went back to 1.5 with the voltage and i went down with the frequency till i got to 800, with no result.

Your ram is probably bad. Run Memtest for a while. Having two ram stick from different manufacturers, with different specks, is asking for trouble.

Run memtest, if you get errors that's the problem.

The RAM's are from the same manufacturer. And I have already changed the Fury memory with a Kingston one, having the same problem.

And cand i run memtest even if the computer will restart at windows loading?

Yes, Memtest runs before any windows screen. Get it burned to a disk or a usb, and boot from that. You can get it as an iso, it's free and like 4mb. Boot from it by pressing f12, f1, esc, or whatever your bios says to go to boot order, then choose the dvd or usb stick with memtest on it.

Memtest is pre-Os.
