Core temp and rare outrageous temperature readings

I've recently overclocked my fx-8320 to 4.2 on a GB 78lmt rev 5. MOBO (I know, it's a bit risky board to OC on, but ive seen plenty people get their chip to 4.5 and so far I've had no troubles) and been stable with OCC and long P95 tests. Core temp usually has me reading at 39 C idle and 54 C underload...

Every now and then Core temp will show my Min/Max temps at 0 C/208 C (?!) This has to happen in a split second because the constant readings are averaging at 48 C

Now I know this is a bull shit reading, as the CPU would turn off long before it got that hot.

Question: Should I switch temperature monitor programs or does this indicate a faulty sensor on the mother board? Should I be worried?

Solution

Switch temperature monitoring programs and if the problem persists then it could be a faulty sensor on the motherboard. If that's so, I would advise to operate your hardware well within the recommended temp limits.

Alright I'll try a different one. HWmonitor never showed these reading, which I also have. Besides HWmonitor is there a program you might suggest?
