Okay so I have a HP 3031H motherboard and I wanted to buy the G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL. I was wondering if my motherboard would be able to support it?

I believe the motherboard uses the Q45 chipset. In which case the chipset supports DDR2 or DDR3 memory. However, it appears the motherboard supports DDR2 memory. So the G.Skill memory (part number F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL) is not compatible because it is DDR3 memory instead.
