Hello everyone,
My PC build is :
AMD FX-8350
ASRock 990FX Fatal1ty Killer
AMD R9-280 Sapphire Dual-X version
G.Skill 8GB 1600MHz RAM
Corsair HX750 PSU
WD 1TB HDD.

Can I manage to run Hackintosh? Something like Mac OSX Mountain Lion or Snow Leopard?
I have Windows 8.1 running on my PC now, can I dual boot with Windows?
Some questions might seem stupid to you, but I've got no experience or knowledge about Hackintosh, although I read a couple of articles, so please just go ahead and answer them anyway.

P.S : This is my first post here, so if I've broken any sort of rule or regulation, let me know. I'll take precaution for my next post. :D

P.P.S : Sorry, forgot to mention my motherboard, updated.

It definitely is a complicated method to install. I'll check that site and let you know what I do. :D Thanks!

Let me be honest here, I don't have a copy of OS X already and I don't think I can afford one. Maybe one day I'll buy when I start earning. But for now, I think I have to use a pirated version. I know that here at Tom's we're not allowed to support piracy, that is why I asked for installation instructions and stuff, because I've heard it's way too complicated for AMD than it is for Intel chips.

You are correct - Tom's Hardware does not countenance the use of pirated software.

Admirable though your honesty may be in admitting that you intend to use pirated software, the dishonesty of doing so out weighs that.

In addition to McHenryB's comment, the one thing we don't allow about Hackintoshing is the software.

It's someone else's Intellectual Property - they sat up all night developing it and if you were that person, you would be annoyed at the theft of your IP.

I always assume folks who peddle or use pirated software are those without the guts to walk into a store and steal it right off the shelf.

Just my £0.02 worth.

Well, I'm 16. My parents are not so rich to get me a OS X license. As I said, Once I start earning, I would not at all prefer using a pirated software.

I agree completely with your comment, but I think you can understand my situation. I still respect that Tom's isn't supporting piracy. That is the reason I didn't ask for any links to pirated software. My doubt was about the procedure of installation, and I've heard that the installation of OS X is harder on an AMD based PC than an Intel based one.

Don't be silly. I can't afford a Mercedes; that doesn't give me the right to go out and steal one.

There are plenty of free operating systems, and you say that you already have Windows 8.1. Stick with what you have or what you can afford rather than stealing what you can't.

Well, that's an interesting analogy. But I think a Mercedes and OS X are two very distant things don't you think?
I told you that I get your point. Just imagine what would happen if everybody would stick to only what they have? The world would have no progress. Don't you think?

I respect your views and I don't want to make any enemies. Only thing I asked for is the installation method of OS X over AMD hardware.
