Hello everyone,
I recently opened up a Youtube Channel and I posted a few videos on it.

Anyway, I wanted to upgrade my CPU for better rendering purposes, so which LGA 775 CPU would be best?
I won't be upgrading to a LGA 1105 or other as I have a different PC for that.
I'd love it if you'd link some down below. P.S I live in Nagaland, India.
And a decent cooler would be appreciated too.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hey there, fellow video editor. I am a professional video editor from maharashtra, india.
Video editing is a task that uses all the processing power u throw at it. That 775 socket is too old now. I'd suggest an i3 at the very least.
Still if u wanna go with d 775 then u got d option of older intel xeon series but the xeon chips costs way too much. Ur only option is to go with the intel core2quad q8300 or above. And then oc them.
Bout cpu cooler, i suggest u to go with d deepcool frostwin. It performs better than cm hyper 212 evo at same or less price.
Deepcool will keep ur overclocked cpu very cool.
But this system is not recommended for 1080p and above rez videos. If u try to do then ur pc wil freez every time u start rendering. And use d ddr3 ram with d cpu if ur mobo supports ddr3. Some extreme edition mobo supports ddr3 with d lga775 socket.
Good luck...
Dnt 4get 2 select d bst answer...

From Anandtech

It seriously thumps software rendering on the CPU.
