Hi !
I have a small problem with my pc , the problem is the HDD Led not blinking after i installed a new hdd and mobo...this problem was long time ago but i just recently asking to forum now..i've been tried to unplug the hdd led cable from mobo and then try to put from - + or +- but still no effect -_-
currently i'm using 2 HDD for storage

my question is :
1.is that my HDD Led lamp dead or the cable was damaged?
2.is that casing problem?cuz im still using my old casing and the front panel usb doesn't work for long time ago with my old mobo  the casing came from 2008 now is 2015...

Oh, I just got what you were talking about. You could get just the cables with the leds and replace yours or the whole front panel if you can find one for your case. Basically if the drive has no errors and is working fine, I'd say that you have nothing to worry about, it's probably the cable.

You could still download DLG (Data Lifeguard Diagnostic) to check the drive and make sure that everything's OK with it: Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows
Hey HeavenKidz. I'm a bit confused here. What led cable? Do you have some sort of led indicator on your mobo, for each drive you've connected? Perhaps you're talking about the power or SATA cable?
Either way, if you're worried about your HDD, I'd recommend that you backup your important data, jsut in case. Then you should download the HDD manufacturer's diagnostic tool to test the drive and see if any errors or bad sectors pop-up.

Let me know how everything goes.
