Skyrim: Interior lighting stutter/lag problem

Hi, I’m having lag/stutter issues when I look at lighting indoors, I’ve tested this without mods and the problem still occurs. The weird thing is that my FPS counter doesn’t drop when the game stutters/lags it stays 60 but feels like 20. I managed to fix the problem by installing the HIALGOBOOST mod but this gave me a significant FPS drop in towns and villages, it also makes things pixelated when I turn the camera, I’m pretty sure the pixelated thing is an intentional part of the mod because it a performance increasing mod but I only want to fix the indoor lighting stutter/lag. I have tried various settings in SkyrimPrefs but to no success of fixing the issue.

I'd appreciate ANY advice/suggestions

Thanks.

The mod that fixed the indoor lighting problem but caused FPS drops outdoors:

Install skyrim performance monitor and see what is bottlenecking. My first guess is that your RAM is the problem, but it could be that you have too many heavily scripted mods trying to run as well.

Edit: Additionally, restore your Skyirm.ini and your skyrimprefs.ini to vanilla, ive found that mucking around in them often causes more harm than good. Your game might look nicer with ini tweaks but it often will play worse.

Hey there Connor. Did you find a solution to this ptoblem? I have the same bug. My last play through was fine, started a new game and got this bug. I notice it more around light sources and certain areas. With my weapon drawn and looking up and down, my hands and weapon stutter/ phase. I have looked everywhere for a fix to no avail.

Thanks for the reply buddy. But it didn't work for me, I need to upgrade windows 8 to 8.1 and CCC (AMD) has been acting strange lately also, I will update these things and see if it helps. In my intel and AMD properties I only have Vsync set, the rest are set to app. Thank you for your time. i5 6gb AMD

Honestly i dont know what to suggest other than keep trying different performance mods, thats what i did. I will inform you if i find anything. Also im on Windows 10 now, maybe that makes a difference? but im not 100%.

It seems connecting my phone to my laptop over a year ago may have given me a virus. And took over my laptop. Thus it wouldn't update drivers or even my clock and date! I'm reinstalling windows and starting over. Also using a Full Screen app from Nexus bugged out my game. Even after deleting the app it still eas messing with my settings, unable to stop the game gokng into windowed mode. Thank you for the reply. Wish me luck lol
