Intel i5 4690k + Sapphire R9 270x Toxic

Hello guys i want to ask you a question. Im thinking to get new cpu intel i5 4690k .I will use it mostly for gaming.My graphic card is Sapphire R9 270x Toxic. So im actually preparing my computer for Gta V on PC . Can you tell me if the CPU will be good with this graphic card?

It''l be fine. You could get a less expensive CPU and it would still run very much the same. That I5 is a good choice though.

for gaming there really isn't much reason go go any higher than the 4690k... and honestly very rarely will one see any benefit over a basic i5.

do you already own the 270x?

Id suggest a cheaper CPU. Only because I had an athlon II x4 750k, with an r9 270. They worked fine together. So in my opinion an i5 4690k is very overkill for this tier graphics card. Possibly get a cheaper i5 (low end of them) or possibly even the top i3.

The i5 4690K is more than good enough, you could just save money and end up saving for another R9 270(x) and have much better power working perfectly even with a lesser CPU.
