Hypervisor, private or public IP address space?!

I plan to deploy Azure Pack in a Datacenter.

The Hypervisors (Hyper-V) I have been given are pre-installed. They have Public IP addresses; according to me who is no pro at networking the Hypervisors should have a Private address space and not public. I guess I am right, or?

Usually you would have a private address for the hypervisor to limit access. If you have a private address, then you need some host with a public IP address to be used as a gateway. What type of address do the IPMI ports have, public or private?
