Is this a good build for gaming/video editing?

Any comments, suggestions, improvements would be appreciated. Thanks!

Case: Galaxy 3 Gaming Case
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 5
CPU: I7-4790K
RAM: 16gb Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 2400Mhz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 980 Gigabyte G1 Gaming 4 GB
HDD: 2tb Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm
PSU: Corsair CX600 80 Plus Bronze 600w
Optical Drive: Samsung 24x Sata DVD Writer
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
OS: Windows 7 Pro
Monitor: BenQ BL2710PT 2560 x 1440 IPS

Most (but there are a few exceptions) games don't benefit from an i7 over an i5. Get the i5 and use some of the savings on a much better PSU than the Corsair CX. That one is built with inferior capacitors that can't take heat. You can save a little more money by selecting a cooler from http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2478892/alternatives-hyper-212-evo-budget-cooling.html and tuning out the parrots.

Edit: For the PSU, something like a 650W Seasonic, EVGA B2, G2, or GS, or Rosewill Capstone would be good.

Yep, due to budget constraints I went cheap on the case and fan.

How about a 650W Seasonic M12-II EVO 80+ ?

If this PC will be used primarily for video editing, then the i7 may be the better choice. If you need to save money, perhaps get a GTX970 for the graphics card. You can still play any game on a single 1920x1080 monitor on excellent settings (most Ultra) with that.
