Will an R9 290 fit inside my Antec Three Hundred Black Steel Mid Tower Case?

I have this case,

And this is the GPU I'm looking at.

And finally, some pics of the inside of my case, with a piece of pizza box as a stand in for the GPU.

It looks like I'm around an inch and change short of fitting. Does anybody have this case and GPU, or a similarly lengthy (11.30") GPU? I want to get it, but I need to know if it will fit. If not, is it ok to cut out a portion of the HDD bay? I've looked, it doesn't appear to be conventionally removable, so I believe I would need to cut into the aluminum to make room for the last inch of the GPU.

Solution

Looks like the card might be a little to big.

Maximum video card size: 11"/
279mm (Note: some video cards may block access to the adjacent hard drive bay)

Card Dimensions (L x H)
11.30" x 5.80"

I somehow missed that bit of info in the case specs... I'm .30" too long with that gpu...

Is it worth it to cut into the case, or, since I'd need to take everything out anyway, should I just get a new one?

That's up to you , I wouldn't mess with cutting the case up.
