HP P7-1227C with MSI MS-7778 motherboard and a EVGA GTX970 not working together.

the power supply is updated, 600w so it should be fine, I didn't disable the integrated graphics though. I did a bit more research though and found out the UEFI (I think that is what it said) bios was not released until OCT of 2012 and this bios version is from July 2012. I will make another attempt using your suggestion but think it is just outside the capability of this motherboard..
