Hey guys, I have a 30mbps internet connection that I will be connecting to a netgear mini 200 power line adapter. I just wanted to be sure that I have enough juice in the adapter to at least get a decent ping. Thanks for the help, and I know there are several other factors, but this question is just specific to the adapter.

I found a review here.

As long as you do not plan to do anything that requires low latency then I would assume that you will be fine. It is always best to be realistic with your expectations when it comes to Powerline.
90% of the adapters use the same chipset. A good deal of them can even be mismatched and netgear and linksys and dlink can all work together, so the adapter is not that important. The placement of the adapter from the internet connection, the quality of the home wiring, the number of breaker the signal has to jump, the number of appliciances plugged into the same breakers, etc, much more determine the speed and ping you will get, and you won't know that until you try.

I found them to be meh. Ok for surfing and stuff, but gaming, streaming, etc, all kind of sucked and lagged.
