Constantly losing disk space on my ssd C: drive

Hello, I just recently bought a computer with 2 drives, a 120gb SSD C: drive, and a 1tb D: Hard drive. However, I've been checking recently, and every now and then throughout the day, I have an unexplained loss of memory on my C: drive! It went from 79.2 gb to 59 over the last 2 weeks until I noticed it and cleared up some space. I managed to get it to 63.6 gb, by cleaning it via CCleaner and Disk Cleanup. Then, I turned off the paging file for the C: drive, and switched it over to my D: drive, thinking the problem would be resolved. Nope.

I am now looking at WinDirStat on the admin account, and it's showing me that only 36.7 gb are being taken up, with 62.8 gb free, but that only adds up to 99.5gb/the 111gb it shows in the device and drives menu for the C: drive? It's driving me crazy that I can't find the reason I am continuously losing data. Also, it says that WinSxS takes up 6.6gb, system 32 4.1gb, sysWOW64 1.3gb, Microsoft.net 696.2gb, so on and so forth. I don't want to delete anything randomly because I really don't want to screw anything up.
My Specs: Windows 8.1
16gb RAM
1tb RAM
120 gb SATA

Thanks in advance, Rudy.

Just to add, I don't know how/why this happened, but I lowered my system restore max space from 25 gigs max to 15 gigs max, and suddenly I have 77.6 gb free...

Your WinDirStat not showing everything is weird. There is some option to show "unknown" data or something like that. If you don't see everything with that, it's a problem.

System restore takes snapshots from time to time, can use a lot of space. Basically it's a good thing, because you can restore to an earlier point in time. It's like a backup.
