Computer freezes often

A couple of months ago, I built my first gaming PC. It works well and fine with all of my games, but freezes and BSODs at random times, especially while gaming. Recently, it's just been freezing, and I have no idea why. My Nvidia drivers are up to date, as well as my audio drivers. I could try updating a few other drivers (Chipset, network) or the BIOS, but I'm not feeling too keen on the latter. Temperatures don't seem to be much of an issue, but I'm considering might be a problem. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. I'd love to get this thing working normally.

Specs:
CPU: AMD X4 860K 3.5 GHz quad core
GPU: EVGA Nvidia GTX 770
RAM: 8 GB Corsair Vengeance LP 1600 MHz
Mobo: MSI A88X-G45 Gaming
PSU: Coolmax ZX-700

Update: So far, my only problem seems to be a sleeping issue, where I put the computer to sleep, wake it up, play a game, quit the game, and then freezing. I've set my hard drive to never sleep when the computer does, so that might be the issue. I still need help.

EDIT: I've updated the BIOS, in case that would be an issue. Nothing improved.

A number of different problems can cause freezing. The first place I'd look for a problem is the PSU - lousy, junk PSUs can cause these types of problems and that's a PSU you should be looking to get rid of even if it's not the specific cause of your current issues. Do you have another PSU you can test with your rig?

Idle temps are around 10 C - 40 C when idle, and around 40 C - 50 C when gaming. My GPU's getting around 30 C on average. I'm using coretemp to monitor my CPU, and I've used afterburner before to find my temps. Haven't used afterburner recently, so I probably should.

Nope, no other PSU to test on, and I can't buy a replacement since I don't have enough money. I've seen reviews saying the PSU's not reliable, but I've yet to see issues with the thing breaking. Though if it might be an issue, I could look into it further.
