Hi guys,
Just wondering a few things:

1) Does a higher resolution make enemies and things in game smaller? It seems like it affects my FOV.

2) Does in-game resolution need to match the desktop resolution set in the Control Panel? Or does it not matter?

Would appreciate any help, sorry if its stupid.
Thanks,
Tom

1. it wont make changes in detail of game or graphics smaller.
may be but some times your web browsing letters looks smaller.

2. you dont always need to match the resolution of your monitor and game resolution.
but if you are playing in very less resolution, you cant play game in full screen. it will adjust as per your monitor resolution.

It will have the exact same affect as it does on the desktop, higher resolution will give you smaller looking items but sharper and allow you to fit more on the screen.

Game resolution does not need to match the desktop but if you change it from the monitor's default the game will look fuzzy or blocky.

If you use a monitor that is less than 20"-22" for gaming, you may feel quite a bit cramped in a game view.

I definitely have a conundrum since my screen is only 14 inches, yet 3200x1800 (silly idea). I can play some games on the highest resolution and it looks magnificent yet small. It does seem to give me amazing advantage though, since I can see someone move from cover 1000m away more easily since pixels don't blur and merge.
I just wish everything wasn't so small and far. I lean into my screen to see further LOL
