Hello, I would love some help to fix or just to understand this issue.

My 2009-10 Razer Abyssus mouse only runs at "USB 1.1 Full-speed" for some strange reason.

I only have 3 USBs plugged in, and only one of them runs at "2.0 high-speed", my webcam. The third thing is an Adesso/Chesen USB to PS/2 converter that runs at "1.1 Low-speed". They are all on the same hub i believe. I use this program called "HWiNFO64" to check. And it says the mouse is capable of running at 2.0. The program says the hub they're plugged into is called: Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller. I'm assuming that's normal ? (I've never really looked). I've tried every Usb i have onboard and front of case.

I have "the good driver" for the mouse, but still in Device manager it says I have 3 mice that are Hid - compliant (which i don't..?) and it says they are all manufactured by Microsoft. I've tried uninstalling them, but they just come back. The "Razer device" which is the mouse, is listed separate though.

And I just started my computer over a couple weeks ago, with Win 7 Pro 64.

Thanks!

My BIOS tells me I have two keyboards and two mice, which I don't. Also, there is no need for mice nor PS/2 converter to run at higher speeds than 1.1. (PS/2 supports only extremely slow speeds something like 112.5 Kbps, slower than usb 1.1 @ 12Mbps-ish)

Oh I see. I have no problem with converter going at 1.1. It's kinda junk. That's for my ps/2 clicky keyboard.
The mouse is a Usb. But, you're right, I've never really noticed a difference with it only going 1.1.

It just really bothers me as a "computer nerd" and perfectionist, that i must have messed something up.

I have updated bios, I've tried plugging in the mouse by itself, that didn't help either.

Do you know if it matters for the motherboard Usb's, which Usb header on the board I plug into ?

I think all the headers are the same, I once, however, moved them around, that required reinstalling some driver and messing about with regedit before the peripherals worked properly again, I have no idea if it actually changes the physical addresses of the ports.
