Hey
This is my first time building a custom gaming computer and I was wondering how long it would take me to build it once I get all the parts so I know how much time I need to set aside. I will not be doing any water cooling at this time.

As herrwizo said, it depends on experience and will to learn. It also takes time if you are doing more complex things like water cooling loops, and such. By the phrase "custom computer" do you mean a standard everyday computer or a gaming rig. Each of those take different times depending on your components and any difficulty you face.

It took me about 3 hours to set mine up from scratch including boot up and windows installation, with a corsair water cooling loop which didn't take long at all. Id advise you to read up and watch videos on it first if you don't have much experience on the subject before you go ahead and do it. Some shops will do it for you, but that comes at a price.

Hope this helps!

Well get experience :3 most parts are easy to spot where to go. Knowing the components to get I thought was the hardest when I made my first PC. As I said, read up on the subject, get a better knowledge, then you'll be more suited to doing it faster and better :)
