hello guys,
i overclocked my i5 4670k to 4.4ghz @ 1.2v on ga-z87-hd3 mobo load temps 65 c (prime 95) with evo 212
so is it safe or i should lower something?

As Prime95 runs through its tests, it changes what kind of memory/cache it's using, the size of it's numbers, etc. It's perfectly normal for temps and power usage to change depending on what mode its in and how much memory its using.

If you are doing Small FFTs then 80'C is about as far as you want to go. Wattage really doesn't matter unless you're worried about the electric bill. Voltage is what you should consider. Never ever have the Vcore voltage set to higher than 1.45V otherwise you will fry the CPU.

Typically, you don't have to run large if you don't want to. The small FFTs are meant to create as much heat as possible to test out your cooling really. After that lasts for at least 10 min with no hiccups, then run the blend test for 2hrs. If you have no hiccups then you have a good clock. If you wanted you could also use Aida64 and OCCT to test and make sure it's 100% rock solid.
