I've been buying upgrades for my desktop and the last thing I need is a hard drive. I do a lot of online gaming so I'd really like an SSD but the amount of space I can get an HDD for the same price is awfully tempting. Ideally I'd like to get an SSD and keep my old hard drive in there for storage.
Here are the parts I've bought so far:

Here are the two hard drives I'm looking at:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=WD+Blue+1+TB+Desktop+Hard+Drive%3A+3.5+Inch%2C+7200+RPM&N=-1&isNodeId=1
So my question is are these compatible with my system? Is there maybe a better suggestion for not too much more money? Should I go with the SSD or the HDD?
My power supply is 1000w and I just got my video card last year.
