I'm a noob, so maybe it already exist, but I have a question:
Since GPUs in SLI/Cross-fire can "combine" the power of both card but only use one memory package (ie. two 8GB GPUs in SLI only use 8GB and not 16GB) are there any SLI GPUs pack coming with only one memory package?
The reason why I ask is because, if same logic is applied to mobile GPUs, say two 980M in SLI but with only a single 8GDDR5 package, this would further push the space optimization scheme.
