I wanna build my PC to last for a while before i need to shell out more cash for upgrades, and I just got done installing a second GTX 970 identical to my first one. I put in an ASUS bridge cable to connect the two cards, and I've already tried reinstalling my graphics drivers after a reboot. My specs are as follows:

Asus X99-Pro
i7-5930k (no OC)
EVGA GTX 970 SC ACX 2.0 (x2)
Samsung 850 Pro 128GB
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR4-2400 (x2)
Gateway HX2000 (60Hz)
Corsair H90

Have you tried rearranging them into different slots. I would like more info on your PSU. If you do not have enough power to supply both, you may be out of luck. Make sure you use another PCI-E cord and connect them to the other GPU as well. I have seen some people not plug in the cord.
