Why would I go CAS 10 when I can go 9? The ones you provided above would are either high profile (which I don't want) or have a CAS of 10 instead of the Crucial Ballistix's 9. My 2x2 Corsair Vengeance has 9 and is 1600 (I have 2x2 right now) and it has the exact same timings as the Crucial Ballistix, so that's why I wanted that one.

Cause they are not CAS 10, they are in fact CAS 9 .... tho partpicker gave me a bum link on the Gskill.... I used the filter for CAS 9 1600 2x8GB" so dunno why it gave that link. Then again, they still claim that 50% of the RAM on "Intel's Certified i5 / i7 RAM Compatibility List" is not compatible, do no surprise.

The reason I also posted the high profiles (and identified them as such) was as a price comparison as an example of what's on the market..... usually , the same exacv RAM with LP is cheaper.

$111 for exact same manufacturer and specs as yours. Get it at Microcenter if you are dead set on paying $9 more.

DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
Cas Latency 9
Voltage 1.5V

Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model 997069 .... also CAS 9 ... and again cheaper @ $115 ($117 shipped)

DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
Timing 9-9-9-24
Cas Latency 9
Voltage 1.5V

Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 UDIMM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model 997069F ... again $15 cheaper , same specs. Obviously the best buy @ $105.

I need Microcenter though (kind of needs purchased in a very brief period of time). I'm not going to lose sleep over saving possibly $5, the RAM has 4.8 stars out of 130 reviewers on Microcenter. I realize it may not look the nicest but I want good performance that is equal to previous Corsair Vengeance which has the exact same voltage, timing, and CAS as this.
