Hi,

I just got a Toshiba C55-B5356 and need to connect some bluetooth devices, so I decided to try my luck with the Intel AC-7265 NGW as a replacement to my bluetooth dongle - which is stealing one precious USB port.

I made a mistake and installed the ProSet tools before I installed the Bluetooth, and I absolutely cannot get the bluetooth working at all. It does not even show up on device manager.

I uninstalled both drivers as I figured out the mistake, and reinstalled in the correct order to no success. I also uninstalled both Intel drivers, reinstalled the old atheros wi-fi card, uninstalled its driver, uninstalled the driver for my little bluetooth dongle, and reinstalled the Intel card and the drivers... Also with no success. Bluetooth does not show up at all.

I did connect the black and white existing antennas on the new card. Is there anything else I am missing? I really cannot think of anything, so I would appreciate any help.

P.S.: If I end up in need to return this, I will appreciate suggestions as well. My first priority is having bluetooth, but I'd appreciate getting some AC wifi since I am soon to upgrade my cable modem/router.

Helpstar,

thanks for answering.

My OS is Windows 8.1, I do see Wi-Fi, both 2.4GHz and 5GHz connections are popping up to me on my Netgear R7000 router.
The Network adapter also shows up on the Device Manager.

The real problem is Bluetooth. I cannot get Bluetooth to show up on device manager, or try to set the computer to discoverable, for example.
