I have heard about connecting a desktop to the internet via wired connection to a laptop with wireless internet connection but I have not found a way that works in Windows 8. Both of my machines are using Windows 8
I have tried sharing my laptops wireless connection through network connection setting in the control panel but that doesn't change a thing
