Get Western Digital HDD its one off the best and it will be almost the same price. Get an Antec, EVGA or XFX PSU the are the top tier PSU's. You have a Z97 motherboard but a locked chip? get the 'k' version of the chip so you can overclock in the future and it will only cost so 10-20 dollars more.

Nothing wrong with using a locked cpu on a 'Z' board, or using a 'K' designated unlocked cpu on a 'H' or 'B' board, they'll work just fine either way at cpu set speed and turbo. The only reason that 'K' cpus are recommended for 'Z' boards is overclocking, as you must have both to enable it.

That said, Z boards are most commonly associated with top of the line components and the best software and the largest variety of newer connectors. Most, if not all, can be found on an equitable 'H' board, things like M.2, Sata express, upgraded audio, full load of fan connectors etc, but the price difference between a Z and same H board is often times negligible, the Z sometimes being cheaper, due to promotions, combos etc.

If the ASRock Fatal1ty Z97 you chose has what you want, does what you want, looks how you want, then by all means keep it, it won't hurt you to have the option to OC if you decide to upgrade the cpu to a 'K'.

There are few real reasons to OC other than hobby or want, heavy editing, production, 3d rendering etc all benefit from higher cpu speeds, as do AMD FX in general, but for the most part your see little difference in games between a locked and unlocked Intel cpu, especially at above 3.2GHz, as most newer games are designed around that speed as a base recommended cpu. Faster can help, but honestly, you can't physically tell the difference between 47 fps and 50fps.

Not too sure of the Rosewill Valens, never seen a review on one, but the above are all good quality psus @same or lower price.

WD or Seagate, personal choice, both are equitable in terms of reliability and performance.

Ram is decent, good idea to go with 2x4 sticks vrs 1x 8Gb, you get better performance in dual channel vrs single.

Gpu. The 'iffy' spot. It's a great mediocre card. It'll handle most games on high, some on ultra, few with max detail settings. The 960 runs cool and is not by any means power hungry, so will easily be pushed by a 500-550w psu. It'll do well in CS:Go, exactly how well I'm not sure, but being a budget card it will also struggle a little on games like BF4 multi-player at ultra.
