But in the bios I noticed that my 4690k idles at 37°C at an ambient temperature of 28°C with the fans at 1200rpm. Just wanted to make sure that this isn't too high. Thanks in advance.

Solution Novuake Mar 26, 2015 No way to reliably tell. Put your CPU under load and then give the results, a lot better way to indicate if its fine.
