feels ood asking but dont want to end up with a problem on my first build :)
video card:‏Asus GTX970 4GB STRIX OC DirectCU II GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI DP PCI-E‎
case:Corsair Carbide 400R Mid-Tower Case No PSU‎

will it fit ok ? now days the video cards are really big :)

Yes it will, there will be an inch or so gap between the card and the hdd cage, from looking at the card installed in other peoples mobos and looking at pictures of your case.
