Hey there everybody! I am wrapping up my current build, which means it's time to start thinking about the next one! I am probably going to build on the X99 chipset, this is going to be my one over the top outrageous build and I would like to install a custom water cooling loop. I just would like to know some of the major brands I should consider for rads, fittings, hoses and pumps. Also, perhaps more importantly, brands to avoid.

Also any forums or sites dedicated to such endeavors (such as overclock.net) would be appreciated too. As of right now the only brand I am familiar with is swiftech

Where I go for all of my liquid cooling parts http://www.frozencpu.com/

Nice selection, personally I stick to EK (especially for GPU blocks), Aplphacool, and XSPC for pumps. I really like the Photon 270, but it really needs a case to the Cosmo 2 or the Obsidian 900D to fit and look good.

Thanks bud, that's exactly the sort of advice I was looking for! I am only going to have dual Rads, one 280 for the Dual Titans/R9 390x and one 240 for the CPU and chipset. The case is going to start as a cooler Master Storm scout (or a lian li if I can find one for a decent price) but it is not going to end up looking like one. 3D printing, CNC Milling, Dremel, tap and die, andozing, powder coating, and automotive level painting are in my future. I promise to post the results (though it won't be up till next spring for cooler master's custom case competition).

I asked about the liquid cooling first because I need to buy the reservoirs and rads first to begin fabrication.

My job is locksmith apprentice, but we also do technology repair out of the same building. My aim is to take my enthusiasm for modification and fabrication and use it to win cooler master's custom case mod competition next year and start my own youtube channel.
