Windows 8.1 does not recognize my second graphics card. SLI GTX 980

I am having a lot of trouble with 8.1 recognizing the second graphics card. Ive tried everything..

Ive tried changing slots, using DVI on the second slot GPU. Cleaning all drivers and reinstalling them. Nothing has worked..

Its been a pain.. Can anyone help? Its a original windows copy..

Need system specs too.

Do you have SLI ribbon connected?
Motherboards sometimes have bad slots, did you test the card in a different slot?

Is your motherboard SLI certified?

Yes. It is a Maximus VII Ranger.

Like i said, i already tried different slots.

Yes, i do have a SLI bridge connected..

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers?
A friend of mine has SLI 780 Ti's and that fixed the same issue for him
make sure you install the latest drivers though
