PS3 NAT type 3 problem

My ISP is suddenlink and I want to know how can I change my NAT type 3 to NAT type 1. Even a little info is appreciated. Thank you

Pick your router from here Click here
Follow the instructions on it how to open ports. When you have router, you can only get NAT 2 which is open and should not restrict you in any way.

Is there a way I can change it without going to the Internet and setting up the ports because my dad lost or didn't even get the papers with the username and password

Restarting the modem and router (unplug power cord from both devices for 10 secs).After you have done that and everything is plugged back in: Make sure to disconnect any device in your home that is connected to this internet. Only connect ps4 to it and do a connection test and see what NAT you are getting. (doesnt matter if other devices arent using internet , they just cant be connected to your wifi or via hardwire connection except ps4)
