Right now I was looking at getting an 850w platinum certified but I really don't think that's enough. What wattage should I get? A specific model would be nice as well.

Solution
Too much actually. Nvidia is saying 250W a piece. Unless you have another 350W of load it will be fine.

Platinum is a bit much as well, not that it matters compared to $2000 worth of GPU, but gold certified is a huge price difference. Talking a percent or two in efficency gains.

Bartix111 mentioned it: you need a CPU cooler. For air cooling these are top line, and expensive, but cool really well:

Also good, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, and is probably plenty for a non-OC'd 5930:

Or go with an All In One closed loop cooler from any number of makers.
All these should be researched on pcpartpicker as you may find better prices.

O.k. it is now near the top, but doesn't appear to have been added into your total $ yet and there is the warning that there is an incapatability- no cooler. Update it if you want., but the build looks wonderful. It is almost identical to one on my wishlist.

Ok glad we cleared that up. Sorry I can't directly reply to you, as I'm on mobile. Pc part picker just doesn't like it If you don't use a listed cooler. I'm going to start ordering parts soon so fingers crossed everything works.
