So, I've been having this problem for a long time. I've had this computer since Christmas 2013 and it's been having a problem where my CPU spikes and I get major video and audio lag while gaming. I've tried a lot of things, and I even went to HP support, where they could not even help me. If anyone can help me I would be very thankful.

Does it overheat? Can you easily reproduce the issue? Using the same game, resolution and settings, does it match the performance they achieved at http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-HP-Envy-17t-j003-Notebook.100557.0.html It obviously isn't a gaming system.
