Does the new Fios Gateway Router have a "Guest" connecting option?

I am thinking of getting the new Fios Gateway router but I also need it to have a "Guest" option for my friends. If not, is there a way to configure this wireless router to have a sort of Guest option?

Supposedly, yes.
I have the FiOS-G1100, and there is a heading for "Guest Network" under "My Network"
However, I have not found a way to invoke this. More playing around inside is needed.

Of course, this presupposes you have fiber service from Verizon FiOS.

It's not necessarily that easy. The default install is coax to the router, TV or no TV. Ergo, a Verizon router.

You can have it ethernet from the ONT to the router, but that requires more work.

All you have to do is call Verizon to have them switch it to ethernet then run the ethernet to the router.

Depending on exactly where the ONT is, and where the router is.....'run the ethernet' may be a bit tricky.
For instance, in my house...they are at complete opposite ends.
