Hi,

I'm having a rather strange problem with my system. After a while, my pc completetly freezes, meaning I can do nothing but reset. The USB-Hubs from my motherboard seem to lose power, since my mouse and keyboard lights go out. However, the rest of the fans/lights on the mainboard continue running.
The freeze ALWAYS occurs without a bluescreen. When booting up again, the computer runs for a few seconds, and then resets itself, and tries to boot up again. This happens 1-8 times before the system boots. Sometimes the system boots up right away. The Windows event log is completely empty other than the Kernel-Power Event because Windows was shut down forcefully. I already ran Memtest without any errors found. I monitored the temperatures of my videocard and cpu, but its all fine.
I know quite some things about computers, but this leaves me clueless. What could the cause of this be? Thankful for any ideas.

Note: I put this into Graphics and Displays, because my biggest suspect is my video card.

Its definetly some malware causing it, what i want you to do.

Install malwarebytes:http://malwarebytes.org/

Do a custom scan and search for rootkits, malware etc.

Then once thats finished, Install hitmanpro.

Do the setup and do a scan, it should find a lot.

Now, install avast antivirus, and do a full system scan there, it will protect your system from there foward.

I'm on a fresh install, so I doubt its malware. I will still do the scan, just to be sure tho.

Could this problem also be PSU-related? Are there any good ways to check for such a thing?
