So I just got my Corsair h80i in today and wanted to oc my cpu (8350). At first I tried doing a mix of fsb and multiplier oc's but I am very new to this and am far too undereducated in this to even get anywhere with that, even with the guide in the sidebar. So I just said screw it and just upped the multiplier and voltage, but even at lower clocks my socket temp would just get way too hot running p95 for 5 minutes (70-75@ 4.4). So I just decided to run it for 2-3 minutes everytime I upped the multiplier, I mean it's not going to be stressed that hard in gaming.. I eventually stopped at 4.6@ 1.3v and it was running stable for the small time i stressed it, but researching just has me worried that I'm going to eventually just mess something up from pushing it too far. Is my logic way off? Or is it ok to do what I'm doing? I mean, 1.3v is pretty low for 4.6ghz isn't it? Also, I forgot to mention I am using an asus m5a99x evo r2.0 motherboard for this.
